Critical Care Medicine
A candidate with MBBS of a recognized university with post-MBBS 2 years full time training in medical or allied field (of which atleast 1 year in any Intensive Care unit) can register for the part 1 Certificate Course in Critical Care Medicine. Post in anesthesia, general medicine, chest medicine, general surgery, casualty, emergency medicine or a trauma unit of a maximum of 6 months duration would be permissible as allied post in this requirement. Post-registration for the Certificate Course in Critical Care Medicine, the candidate must provide evidence of further 1 year full time training in a medical surgical intensive care unit of hospital recognized by the College of Critical Care Medicine.
Candidates with Diploma in Anesthesia from recognized university can apply directly for registration for Certificate Course in Critical Care Medicine. However, 1 year training in recognized ICU is compulsory as in (1) above.
M.D. (General Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine or Anesthesia) from recognized university can apply directly for registration for Part 1 Certificate Course in Critical Care Medicine. However, 1 year training in recognized ICU is compulsory as in (1) above.
After Successful Completion Of Part-I Candidate Can Register For Part-II
It is a residency programme & 80% attendance is mandatory. Maintenance of log as per the guidelines is compulsory & the same has to be submitted to college of critical care medicine.
A) 1st Year- Rs. 35,000/- (to be given to college of critical care medicine by the candidate).
B) 2nd Year -Rs.45,000/- ( to be given to college of critical care medicine by the candidate).
C) One time Membership Fee :- Rs.3,225/-(to be given to college of critical care medicine by the candidate)
