Psychotherapy for phobias, anxiety, depression, obsessions and other related emotional issues
Psychotherapy is a modality of treatment used to alleviate mental and emotional problems like phobias, depression, obsession, etc. without medicines. During psychotherapy one learns about one’s condition, your moods, feelings, thoughts and behaviours and helps you learn how to take control of your life and respond to challenging situations with healthy coping skills. Psychotherapy aids in resolving conflicts, relieves stress, cope with major life changes, recover from trauma or sexual abuse, come to terms with an on-going physical health problem and also helps to manage unhealthy reactions like managing anger.
There are many specific types of psychotherapy, each with its own approach. The type of psychotherapy that's right for you depends on your individual situation and your personality.
